Armchair Exercise
The Armchair Exercise class is without a doubt one of the best exercise classes ever at Eastside. This group meets every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday morning at 10:00 am in the meeting room. The Armchair Exercise Program is designed to help strengthen muscles and improve flexibility ad mobility of joints. Just ask the participants—it does work! Don’t be shy, come in and ask for Eleanor.

Bid Euchre
Bid Euchre is played every Friday at 1:00 p.m. Come in and ask for Alta Chapman if you are interested in joining this fun game.

Bingo
The seniors play Penny Bingo every Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. and Regular Bingo every Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. Come join us and exercise your brain while having fun.

Bowling
Mondays at 12:45 p.m. our seniors leave the center to bowl at Richfi eld Bowl. This is great exercise and a chance to get out for the afternoon.

Bridge
Seniors meet each week on Thursday at 12:30 p.m. and enjoy a few hours of great fun playing bridge.

Bunco
Bunco is played the 2nd and 4th Thursday at 7:00 PM of the month at Kearsley Daly Villa. If you are interested in joining the fun, please contact Betty on Thursday’s at 250-5000 for more information.

Cribbage
Have you ever played cribbage?  Are you interested in learning how to play cribbage?  Join us on the first and third Tuesday of the month beginning at 1:00 p.m. for a fun afternoon.

Dominoes
Come join us for an afternoon of dominoes held on the 3rd Monday of each month at 1:30 pm.

Double Deck Pinochle

Bring a friend and join the others for an afternoon of fun.  Double Deck Pinochle is played on Sundays at 1 p.m.

Euchre
Come and join the seniors for some exciting games of Euchre on Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m. or Thursdays at 1:00 p.m. Why not bring a friend?

Friday Evening Dance
Put your dancing shoes on and come to the Senior Center every Friday night to enjoy music and dancing. This program is sponsored by the Silver Eagle Band who also hosts dances at the Burton Senior Citizen Activity Center and the Flint Township/Carman Ainsworth Senior Center. Come join us on Friday evenings from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Landscape Painting
If you have considered painting please come join instructor Steve Wood for the landscape painting class held on the second Tuesday of each month from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. The cost is $15.00 per session. At the end of the session you will have complete painting.  Mr. Wood's unique ability to blend humor and encouragement results in a very enjoyable, relaxing experience.

Line Dancing
Do you need to exercise? Do you like music? Do you like people? If you answered “yes” to two out of the three questions, line dancing just may be the activity for you! This program meets every Monday and Thursday from 9:00 to 10:00 AM for beginners and from 10:00 to 11:00 am for advanced dancers. Come in and ask for Marge.

Nintendo Wii Bowling
We now have Wii Bowling. Please join us on Thurdays at 1:00 PM for some fun bowling in the meeting room. It is also good exercise!

Paint Classes
Paint classes have started again!  Join us on Tuesday mornings from 9:30 a.m. to 12 Noon and Tuesday evenings from 5:30 p.m.to 8 p.m.  These classes us decorative tole and acrylic paint.  The instructors create different projects throughout the year.  If you are interested in either of these classes please stop by the center office or call 250-5000 to enroll.

Pinochle
Pinochle is played every Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. Double Deck Pinochle is also played on Sundays at 1:00 p.m. Don’t miss out!

Pool
The Senior Center has its own pool table, and any senior is welcome to come in and shoot pool during business hours.

Shuffleboard
Come meet us at 12:30 p.m. every Monday to play shuffleboard. This is a fun way to get exercise as well as a chance to make new friends.

Walk to Better Health
This program is available daily and is structured to allow each participant to walk 100 miles using several options. Under this program you have the opportunity to get outside (weather permitting) or use the exercise equipment in-house.
